Cruise to Dubrovnik

One maxim used to lure visitors to Croatia is "The Mediterranean As It Used To Be." Walk the streets of Old Dubrovnik and you'll be hooked. This is why you come to the Eastern Med, for the history, the air, the deep blues of the Adriatic, the maze of medieval streets, delicious local fare, long afternoons with little to do except gaze and wonder. Dubrovnik is old, 7th-century old. The entire Old City is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There are beaches, restaurants and cafés. There are also more museums, cathedrals and monasteries than you can shake your camera's memory stick at. But really all you need is Dubrovnik herself—if only for a day.
