Seabourn Sojourn was the second of three new "yachts" launched by the luxury Seabourn Cruise Line, christened at a glamorous event in London by sixties fashion icon, Twiggy. In the Odyssey class of ships, Seabourn Sojourn is flanked by Odyssey, which launched in 2009, and Quest, which made her debut in 2011. Virtually identical from stem to stern, all three sleek sisters are small yet spacious cruise ships, offering an all-inclusive, high-service experience on the high seas. Think all-suite ocean-view accommodations packed with perks like personalized stationary, terry cloth robes and L’Occitane products; cuisine steered by celebrity chef, and James Beard Award winner Charlie Palmer; and a host of other innovative features new for the line, including distinct living and sleeping areas in most cabins and communal tables and bar-height seating in the restaurants. Of particular note is Seabourn Square, the welcoming “living room” replacing the traditional ship’s lobby, and a two-deck spa with private villas and plenty of indoor areas and outdoor terraces — the largest spa of its kind aboard any luxury ship. As far as accommodations go, Seabourn Sojourn lays claim to the largest suite in the Seabourn Cruise Line’s fleet. The Sojourn’s Grand Wintergarden Suite is a sprawling 1,097 square feet, and features a wet bar, two verandas and a glass-enclosed solarium sporting a bathtub and a daybed.
