Explorer of the Seas sets the standard for resort-style cruising for couples and families alike, offering plenty of activities to keep youngsters occupied, letting Mom and Dad have their own time to relax in the spa, treat their taste buds in Portofino or dance the night away in the nightclub.

Explorer of the Seas OVERVIEW

One of five giant siblings, Explorer of the Seas would be better named Fun Palace at Sea because she's all about families. Activities keep youngsters busy from morning 'til night in the kids and teen clubs or out on deck, while Mom and Dad take a well-earned break.

But Explorer's lively spirit also makes her a great choice for couples looking for a fun vacation on a glitzy big ship with lots of places to eat, watering holes aplenty and space to chill out as well.

An upgrade planned for January and February 2015 will add more restaurants, a nursery for babies and toddlers and a poolside movie screen.
