It's hard to call any modern cruise ship "intimate," but Brilliance of the Seas offers a smaller ship option with all the latest amenities, especially after its revitalization. The ship has the options and facilities to please everyone from tiny tots to seasoned travelers. And with all those glass walls, Brilliance has an outward-facing feel which provides guests with a wonderful connection to the ocean and the elements.

Brilliance of the Seas OVERVIEW

A mid-size ship in the Radiance class, Brilliance of the Seas ushered in a new direction for Royal Caribbean when introduced in 2002. Smaller than its successors, Brilliance has a relatively classic and intimate maritime feel, lent by a warm and extensive use of wood paneling and deep blues. Surrounding glass walls provide passengers with wonderful views during dinner, while socializing or when sailing into port. A May 2013 revitalization made Brilliance as contemporary and innovative as she is stylish, doubling her dining options and adding Wi-Fi throughout. Regardless of the welcome new amenities, a theme of light and space prevails, with windows at every turn, no more evident than in the ship's light-filled atrium.
