Often cruising on smaller vessels means foregoing options, but such is not true of Seven Seas Navigator. Guests have their choice of five restaurants, all of which are free, and numerous lounges and public areas — which, despite the smaller ship, are seldom crowded and provide a quiet, but still entertaining, respite. But what makes cruising aboard Seven Seas Navigator truly memorable is the service — from attentive masseuses to vigilant servers, the focus remains on elevating the guest experience.

Seven Seas Navigator OVERVIEW

Seven Seas Navigator started out life as an unglamorous Soviet research vessel (read: spy ship), but was rebuilt from the ground up by Regent to become the cruise line’s first all-suite ship. Although small by today’s standards, she’s sleek, modern and roomy, offering a casual yet refined experience at sea.

To bring her into line with her siblings, Seven Seas Voyager and Seven Seas Mariner, Navigator underwent a two-week, multimillion-dollar refurbishment in mid-2012. Besides all of her suites emerging with a new look, public areas were totally refreshed. The popular Prime 7 steakhouse was enlarged and a new dining venue was added in the way of Sette Mari, an Italian-style bistro/buffet that occupies La Veranda at night. This all-inclusive cruise ship is the epitome of quiet sophistication, with a loyal following of well-heeled savvy cruisers — for good reason, as service is highly attentive.
