Ocean Princess

Moderate Small SET SAIL 1999
Afternoon tea recalls a previous cruising era
Pre- and post-dinner cocktails at the Club Bar
Great book selection and book exchange at the Library
The self-service laundry is invaluable for long itineraries

Ocean Princess provides a genteel, intimate atmosphere that’s conducive to getting to know your fellow guest and the ship’s staff. Expect frequent captain sightings. The size of the ship makes her layout easily navigable for guests and gives her more itinerary options as she can navigate the smaller ports of call.

Ocean Princess OVERVIEW

What to expect beyond the diminutive exterior of Ocean Princess? Think private club with lots of dark-wood paneling, plush carpets, stylish draperies and tasteful upholstery. The intimate spaces onboard make for an elegant ship.

Some may remember Ocean Princess in her former incarnation as Renaissance R4 before she entered the Princess Cruises fleet as Tahitian Princess. In 2009, she was dry-docked and re-christened Ocean Princess.

Guests are mostly older due to the length of a typical cruise. They’re well traveled and typically seeking a change from the standard Caribbean itinerary — and often express a desire to visit ports that larger ships can’t.
