The Dawn Princess is an entertaining way to cruise Down Under with its multiple dining options and appealing nightspots. The midsize ship manages to be fun but elegant, and roomy but intimate. The Dawn Princess works for families looking to be entertained, but just as easily for couples looking to reconnect and have some quiet time.

Dawn Princess OVERVIEW

Dawn Princess' staterooms are on the small side, but they’re smartly designed to make the most of the space, with storage ample enough even for a family of four sharing a standard room. All staterooms have a mini-fridge, flat-panel TVs, a safe and nightly pillow chocolates (a nicety many cruise lines have cut back on). If you can afford it, Dawn Princess' 32 mini-suites are worth the splurge; they measure between 370 to 536 square feet, have two TVs, a seating area with a sofa bed and a tub and shower. The largest accommodations are Dawn Princess' stern-facing full-suites, a roomy 538 to 695 square feet with walk-in closets, stocked mini-bars and a free DVD library.
