Even the finickiest eaters will find reasons to indulge on board Riviera. Ten restaurants run the gamut of casual to upscale and feature a range of cuisines that includes traditional Asian and Italian. Food takes a turn for the social, too, as the line’s Bon Appétit Culinary Center provides hands-on cooking classes for up to 24 guests and restaurants such as Toscana and Polo Grill offer up opportunities for private group dining. Whether you’re learning how to make perfectly al dente pasta or dishing with friends about the previous night’s meal, you’re bound to savor every moment aboard Riviera.

Oceania Cruises is known as the foodie cruise line for good reason. Word on deck is that the miso-glazed seabass in Red Ginger is out of this world; and the  beef in Polo is so tender it can be cut with a fork. Passengers flock to French restaurant Jacques, eminent chef Jacques Pépin’s first eponymous eatery; and can’t get enough (or even decide) betweenToscana’s 10 different varieties of olive oil and four balsamic vinegars.(Each selection comes with a basket of breads and yummy roasted garlic.) There are 10 restaurants, including two specialitychoices, but which is best? Finding out for yourself is part of the fun.

Yep, the food is the main talking point on Riviera, but not the only one. Guests are wowed by the décor — the Lalique staircase that greets you when you step aboard, the stylish red-and-black in Red Ginger, the elegance of the main dining room — and the artwork is stunning, too. The Owner’s Suites are equally grandiose with more than 2,000 square feet of seriously swanky living featuring Ralph Lauren Home furnishings.
