Both the itineraries and the crowd on board the MSC Poesia are very international. The exotic ports of call the Poesia sails to coupled with the worldly atmosphere on the ship encourages guests to experience the best of all cultures as they linger over leisurely European-style meals, sip a sweet Caribbean cocktail in the Mojito Bar or when visiting cosmopolitan cities like Buenos Aires, Copenhagen or Casablanca.

MSC Poesia provides an international cruise experience with an Italian flair. If you're looking for an all-American cruise, you're not going to find it here. MSC Poesia is geared to an international cruise market, so enjoy the muster drill in five languages and smaller portions of food in the dining room. MSC Poesia is a beautiful ship with a stunning three-story atrium. The extensive use of glass, marble and brass is attractive, and a neutral color palette in most public areas is easy on the eyes.

The staterooms are nicely detailed, with all the expected amenities such as TV, in-room safe and sitting area with desk. The interior, oceanview and standard balcony staterooms aren't exceptionally large, but there is good storage space.

The poolside scene is jumping with activity during days at sea. The promenade area is great for walking. But for more intense workouts, you might want to hit the gym during off-peak hours.  As a reward, enjoy authentic Italian espresso and chocolate treats at Bar dei Poeti, the coffee bar.
