Alaska cruise guests aboard select Princess ships will now have the opportunity to have their fish and eat it, too.

Cook My Catch is an exclusive culinary experience launched on Princess cruises with port calls in Juneau and Ketchikan, as well as Princess Land and Sea Vacations. Guests are now able to enjoy their very own Alaskan seafood catches and select their preferred preparation and accompaniments before indulging. This experience is available on select excursions, including Salmon Sport Fishing Adventure in Juneau and Discovery Exclusive Alaska & Wilderness Dining excursion in Ketchikan. Cook My Catch is the newest addition to Princess' North to Alaska program, which offers authentic local experiences to guests who want to immerse themselves in vibrant Alaskan culture.

The Wheel of Fortune slot machines have long been a favorite on Carnival ships. To celebrate two decades of popularity, the cruise line has partnered with International Game Technology (IGT) to launch a variety of giveaways throughout this year. Among these giveaways is hundreds of free cruises on Carnival Magic, which can be won by viewers of the iconic show during the week of March 21-25, 2016. These winners will participate in the ship's first-ever Spin N Sail slot tournament during its 8-day Caribbean sailing in November (there's a $200,000 prize pool, so you can bet this will be one for the books).

IGT customers throughout the U.S and Canada will be hosting qualifying events to award winning players with a free cruise for two aboard Carnival Magic, plus entry into the big tournament. Carnival will also be hosting a number of other Wheel of Fortune-themed events across its fleet, including scratch-off games where guests can win up to $30,000 and a Wheel of Fortune prize wheel with prizes such as Casino Cash and entry into the $200,000 tournament.

The luxury cruise line announced a line-up of chefs recognized by James Beard--a leader in the culinary world--who will set sail on the "James Beard Foundation Collection" of culinary-rich cruises this spring and summer. Each sailing will feature a James Beard chef who will work alongside Windstar's culinary team to offer cooking demonstrations, one-on-one interactions and mouth-watering cuisine options. Guests can choose from an 8-day voyage to Southern Spain and Morocco aboard Wind Surf (in April) and a 10-day voyage aboard Star Legend, which sails from Lisbon and Dublin in June and Dublin to Lisbon in August. Both voyages will capture the essence of the cuisine in each respective stop, including the use authentic, local ingredients and onshore culinary outings.

We had the pleasure of visiting a James Beard award-nominated restaurant, Jose Enrique, while dining in San Juan. If these taste buds could talk...

Just in time for New York Fashion Week, Cunard Line announced that the remastered Queen Mary 2 will be making a fashionable entrance into the Big Apple following its 7-night Transatlantic crossing from September 1-8. The inaugural Transatlantic Fashion Week will feature appearances by leaders in the world of fashion, including British fashion designer Dame Zandra Rhodes, Fashion Historian Colin McDowell and the founder of New York Fashion Week herself, Fern Mallis. Guests can expect to mingle with fashion's elite and even meet future designers from The Royal College of Art, which holds the world's number one postgraduate fashion program.

Check out the video below for a sneak peek at this upcoming style sail:

Even if you're not taking part in Transatlantic (or NY) Fashion Week, you can still stay ahead of the fashion game by packing some NYFW-inspired outfits for your next cruise. And because cruise ships themselves are not exempt from style standards, we put together a lineup of the most fashion-forward ship designs to honor the best of hull couture.

Princess Cruises Wilderness Lodge, one of the cruise line's 5 owned and operated wilderness lodges, just landed a spot on Condé Nast Magazine's top resorts in Alaska and Pacific Northwest. Alaska cruising season is right around the corner, and we're getting our whale-watching eyes ready for some serious adventures in the Land of the Midnight Sun.
